Ethical Leadership
ARCHPerformance, in conjunction with its partners PCI and QuestionPro, offers a range of services to support Ethical Leadership. These services include:
Assessment of Potential Ethical Leaders
In partnership with PCI, ARCHPerformance offers the unique ability for organizations to obtain both a measure of leadership ability and an evaluation of ethical leadership. We accomplish this by focusing on leadership and ethical competencies and then measuring those competencies using psychometric instruments, personality measures, and interviews. The outcome of that process is a customized report (see sample) unique to each organization.
We offer a menu of services that allow organizations to evaluate leaders at all levels, from entry-level supervisors to the C-suite.
For organizations that use an interview-based selection process, ARCHPerformance offers interview guides customized to ethical leadership competencies and the option of using moral dilemmas or case studies in the interview process to assess moral reasoning.

Development of Ethical Leaders
ARCHPerformance offers two specific services to support the development of ethical leadership:
With our partners, we offer a 360 instrument (see sample) that evaluates both leadership and ethical leadership competencies, combined with individual feedback and interpretation if requested.
A second critical means of developing ethical leaders is through a structured discussion process between mentors, leaders, and potential leaders. This process should focus on the moral and ethical issues that leaders face in an organization. We provide consulting to organizations that wish to develop such a program.
Culture Evaluation
With our partners, ARCHPerformance offers an Ethical Culture Assessment (see sample report) which allows organizations to evaluate their ethical culture. We believe a culture assessment is crucial for organizations who wish to maintain an ethical culture.
Consulting
ARCHPerformance provides consulting to organizations that are exploring ethical leadership through our principal, Rick Swegan. Organizations seeking our consulting services should understand the three core beliefs we hold with regard to consulting:
- Any consulting engagement should be short-term. We don’t believe in creating consultant dependence.
- The CEO must be involved. Culture and ethics flow from the top.
- We work with people to create systems and processes that are uniquely suited to each organization and, ultimately, maintained internally.
